SSP worked with Cantu Construction of this new commercial development in McAllen, Texas. This development was designed to attract artists and local craftsmen in a unique art village atmosphere.
The project was designed around an historic home which was renovated into one of the gallery buildings for the display of art work and public exhibitions. Landscape planning and design was an integral part of creating an inviting village feeling through the appropriate use of subtropical planting, soft curvilinear paving and natural outdoor spaces. This project was complete in July of 2009.
